Visitors to Sebastopol have numerous ways to pick up fresh-off-the-farm produce and products.

Farmers Markets

The Sebastopol Farmers' Market runs year round on Sunday mornings, creating a popular Sunday downtown destination for locals and visitors alike. Vendors offer up a wide range of goods, from seasonal produce and fruit to fish, baked goods, spices, cheeses, honey, eggs, jams & preserves, and prepared foods. Non-foods include skincare, nursery plants, textiles and artisan products such as candles, jewelry, and more.

Held on shady Sebastopol Plaza, this thriving market is always a fun experience. If you're there at lunchtime, pick up a duck taco or a slice, and enjoy it while sitting beside the fountain and listening to live music.

Visit a Farm 

Sebastopol's Redwood Hill Farm - Capracopia — a goat dairy — offers full farm tours guided by one of its family members, "kid cuddle days" that focus on the adorable baby goats, and personalized private tours arranged to work with your schedule. Meet the goats, cuddle baby goats, learn how to milk a goat, and experience  sustainable farming first-hand, from the tracking solar array and rainwater catchment tanks to the pioneering use of tagasaste, an innovative goat fodder crop. This Certified Humane farm also includes chickens, beehives, olive and fruit orchards, and more.

Bring a picnic to enjoy in the orchard. The farm market stand offers award-winning Redwood Hill Farm goat cheese, seasonal fruit, and fresh flowers, as well as skin-nourishing goat milk soap made with fresh goat milk and Capracopia Olive Oil produced on the farm. It's a good idea to bring a cooler and ice if you want to buy cheese and produce. (Note: No pets are allowed on the farm.) Reservations required.

Produce and Artisanal Product Stands

Andy's Produce Market: The largest open-air fresh farm produce market in Northern California, Andy's is able to obtain many items from local farmers who only produce small amounts. During the summer, fruits like berries and apples come right from farms near the market. This old-fashioned fruit stand also offers a complete selection of organic and gourmet foods.

Beekind: At Beekind, honey is local, natural, raw, and unique. Beautiful and consumable goods line the shelves, there's a tasting bar, and you can observe beehives in the garden. On sale are premium honeys, beeswax candles, and bees/beekeeping supplies.

Lynn's Lavender & Lotsmore: Enjoy the beauty and fragrances of fresh lavender at this farm, production barn, and garden and gift shop at Tanuda Ridge Vineyard. They produce a wide variety of products made from lavender, including Luxury Body Lotion and Luxury Body Balm.

Monte-Bellaria de California: Named for the afternoon foggy winds that blow in from the coast, cleansing the air and sweeping into the valley and lavender fields below, "Monte-Bellaria" is derivative of the Italian for “mountain of beautiful air.”  The farm produces three key agricultural products: lavender in essential oils, hydrosols, and scented products; olive oil; and bee products, including honey, soaps, lip balm, and moisturizer.
