Description

At our dog-friendly tasting room in the heart of Glen Ellen, you’ll discover the unique character of our Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Grown on the east-facing slopes of Sonoma Mountain, our estate fruit benefits from a rare balance—morning sun, cool afternoon breezes, and a long, slow ripening season that enhances complexity and structure. The result is a Cabernet Sauvignon with remarkable depth, elegance, and balanced acidity—unlike anything else in California. Our wines are a true reflection of place.

Since 2014, we have been certified organic, farming without herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers to cultivate the highest-quality fruit. Our vineyard’s heritage, Laurel Glen Clone of Cabernet Sauvignon, planted in 1968, is exclusive to our estate and produces wines with distinctive intensity, refined tannins, and a beautifully layered profile. Explore various curated tasting experiences that showcase the distinctive character of our wines.

We offer several tasting options to suit your preferences: Chilled Wine Tasting: Sample four limited-production white and Rosé wines for $30 per person.

Classic Tasting: Enjoy two chilled wines alongside two of our signature Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignons for $40 per person.

Collectors Tasting: Begin with a splash of a limited-production chilled wine, followed by three of our signature Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignons, including both current and library vintages, for $50 per person. Tasting fees are waived with each three-bottle purchase, and club member tastings are always complimentary.

For those interested in exploring the depth and evolution of our wines, we offer specialized experiences:

Library Tasting: Delve into a selection of rare, perfectly aged Laurel Glen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon vintages spanning at least a decade. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Cost is $60 per person.

Evolution of Cabernet: This tasting showcases 30 years of our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. The experience includes five wines selected from vintages of the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, paired with complex bites prepared by Chef Fiorella Butron of Allikai in Sonoma and a keepsake folder. Available Monday through Saturday, the cost is $125 per person.

Our tasting room is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations can be made on our website or by phone. We gladly welcome walk-ins; a quick call to ensure we can accommodate you is appreciated. For large groups of 7 or more, please see our group reservations on our website for options and details. Visit us to experience the unique expression of Sonoma Mountain in every glass.
