Founded on this site in 1931, Vella Cheese is now run and operated by 3rd & 4th generation Vellas. Our milk comes from a local dairy. Our cheeses are made and aged onsite. Our specialty is our Dry Monterey Jack. We have a small retail store where you are welcome to a cheese tasting at no charge. We offer factory prices on California’s original Artisan Cheese. We do not offer tours to the general public.
