Guerneville
Long a popular getaway for the LGBTQA community, this river town offers something for every taste. For example, enjoy a modern aesthetic and relaxing spa at the West Sonoma Inn & Spa; lounge and mingle 'round the pool at The R3 Hotel, which features a restaurant, bars, and an outdoor grill; kick back in charmingly rustic cottages, cabins, or multi-room suites at The Woods resort; or cozy into an individual cabin or platform tent at the Highlands Resort, which recently underwent renovations by its owner, Crista Luedtke.
Luedtke, the chef and serial entrepreneur behind local hotspots boon eat + drink, BROT modern german, and El Barrio, also owns boon hotel + spa, a romantic, adults-only escape that offers the option of rooms and suites, glamping tents, or a cute vintage camper named "Boonito."
