They have honeybees to visit, a tree nursery to peruse, and an organic vegetable garden. Join Bees N Blooms at the farm for a pop-up open weekend for Mother’s day, May 8-9. Perennial, pollinator-friendly organic plants and pre-made floral bouquets by SideKick Flowers will be for sale. Preorders are recommended. Come for picnics, exploring, walking the labyrinth, shopping and more.

West Wines

Treat Mom to a nice day among vines and wines at West Wines. Begin with a walk through the spring vineyard where cover crops are sprouting and vines are all green with tiny grape clusters developing. After the walk, taste four wines on the vine-side patio or in the shaded pavilion. Guided tours will begin at 11am and 2pm for all visitors and a self-guided tour is available throughout the day. To celebrate, all moms get free wine tastings. Make the day extra special with charcuterie or boxed lunch. See more info here.

Floral Workshop at Rodney Strong Vineyards

Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend creating your own floral arrangement lead by a former instructor from Sequoia National Floral in Santa Rosa. Enjoy your lovely arrangement at home, or gift to a loved one. Each ticket includes one DIY floral arrangement per person, all floral materials, and Rodney Strong wine. Make reservations here.

Larson Family Winery is an old rodeo ranch-turned-winery, which spells fun for families. This cowboy-style atmosphere is very relaxed and comes with farm animals, a bocce ball court, and grass area for picnic blankets. Honor thy mother by treating her to brunch with their neighbor, Kivelstadt Cellars Wine Garden & Eatery. All brunch options include a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage and of course, something special for Mom.

Flock to the Flamingo for Mother's Day

Flamingo Resort

You can count on delicious Mother’s Day brunches at Sonoma County favorites like the Flamingo Resort, a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat. For Mother's Day, each adult is greeted with a glass of Sparkling Wine or Tropical Mimosa. See the rest of the special menu here.

Mother's Day at John Ash & Co.

Nestled next to Vintners Resort in Santa Rosa, John Ash & Co. was the first Sonoma County restaurant to introduce the concept of cooking with seasonal, locally sourced foods and produce while pairing exceptional recipes with wines from the region. See the brunch menu here.
