Bricoleur offers yoga under the winery's pavilion, offering incredible views over the vineyard, with regular classes every Friday and Sunday. Private individual or group classes can also be booked to fit your specific needs.

Session Climbing Gym

This state-of-the-art climbing gym founded by famed climber Kevin Jorgenson and Mike Schaffer is arguably the hottest new gym in Sonoma County. You can buy a day pass and explore activities such as bouldering, top rope, auto belay and lead climbing. (Please note that to top-rope belay, auto belay, and lead belay, participants must pass a certification test. Bouldering does not require a special certification.) You can also book private instruction or take one of many classes. Session offers everything from an intro to rope climbing, to advanced lead climbing, rope skills and technique classes.

As an added bonus, Session also has a beautiful, fully equipped yoga studio featuring some of the best yoga teachers Sonoma County has to offer.

Hiking

If outdoors is more your jam, why not take advantage of Sonoma County’s beautiful scenery? Sonoma County is full of amazing hiking trails for all needs: Long, short, hilly, flat, paved, strenuous … whatever you desire, it’s here! Below are some popular routes:

Helen Putnam Park, Petaluma

Helen Putnam offers grandiose views over Sonoma, lots of flora and fauna, and hills to get those glutes on fire. The views are especially stunning in the spring with amazing greenery. The trails range from 1.8 to 4.5 miles and are rated easy to moderate.

Kortum Trail, Jenner

A beautiful coastal hike with incredible views over the ocean, this hike is 4 miles one way (8 miles if you walk the full length and back). The trail starts at the end of Goat Rock Road south of Jenner.

Sonoma Overlook Trail

This is an easy 3-mile trail beginning at the Mountain Cemetery that offers a great view of Sonoma and the surrounding nature.

Yoga + Hike

Why not combine hiking in beautiful nature with yoga?

Susan Topf’s Yoga Hike balances a mix of easy hiking and gentle yoga postures, breath work and guided meditation in the beautiful Sugarloaf State Park. No mat is necessary, but do make sure to bring water. The route varies based on weather conditions and group interest, but typically covers 2-3 miles of varied terrain.

We recommend making online reservations whenever possible, as these classes and events do fill up fast.
