SONOMA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, June 19, 2020 – Anna Yan, former senior publicist and creative director for Moore Good Public Relations, has joined Sonoma County Tourism (SCT) as Public Relations Manager. Yan will provide public relations and marketing support through media and influencer relations, content development, and public relations strategy. Her support of the organization will also extend into SCT’s community engagement and group business development functions, as she works to place key messages in those critical areas. Yan can be reached at [email protected] and phone at 707-522-5818.

“Anna is a smart, energetic, and passionate professional, who we’re lucky to have found” said Todd O’Leary, vice president of marketing and communications for SCT. “Her background in public relations and marketing pairs beautifully with her love of Sonoma County. We’re excited to welcome her to our dynamic team. “

While at Katy Sweet & Associates PR, and later Moore Good PR, Anna worked with nonprofit organizations and luxury brands on tentpole fundraiser and event promotions in West Los Angeles, including The Geffen Playhouse, The Boys & Girls Club, the American Ballet Theatre, Tree People, and The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. In addition, Anna has also worked as a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant for start-ups, wineries and private practice practitioners.

“I fell in love with Sonoma County once I discovered it’s possible to be surrounded by such majestic coastlines and exciting hiking trails in the birthplace of farm-to-table cuisine. And around every corner is a dreamy winery that welcomes everyone like a local!” said Yan. “I am thrilled to call this destination my new home and am so excited to be working with the dynamic team at Sonoma County Tourism to encourage the rest of the world to experience the bountiful adventures that exist here.”
