Dear Sonoma County Restaurant Owner/Manager,   

You’re invited to participate in the 12th annual Sonoma County Restaurant Week 2021.

We acknowledge that the last year has been challenging for the entire restaurant industry. Here is what we are doing to adapt to this incredibly difficult situation:

• Sonoma County Restaurant Week has a new website launching to the public at the end of January. This website will provide exposure and marketing for your restaurant and allow customers to have a seamless experience where they can filter by price, location, and offerings. The website also includes features to add direct links to online ordering and gift card purchases.
• Restaurant Week is rebranding to encourage our local community to support Sonoma County restaurants and hospitality workers by ordering take out, purchasing gift cards, getting cocktails to go, and more.
• We will be eliminating set price points for this year. You are still welcome to provide a special menu and take out options for Restaurant Week participants. However, we did not feel it was appropriate to constrain your restaurant to a fixed price point given the current climate.
• As an added perk, Jackson Family Wines will offer virtual wine tasting events for all restaurant week participants (of legal drinking age).

Sonoma County Restaurant Week is scheduled for February 19th – February 28, 2021. We hope this date range allows continued participation and drives even more diners to your business. The Economic Development Board also recognizes that you need our support more than ten days out of the year, which is why we are also creating a longer campaign to continue to encourage the public to support local restaurants and hospitality workers.

The economic impact of Restaurant Week is significant and we know the restaurant industry needs a boost now more than ever. In 2020, Restaurant Week generated $6.37 million in restaurant revenue and local taxes for Sonoma County, with more than 13% of diners coming from outside of Sonoma County. We are looking forward to another successful year, especially at this time when we could all use some great food in our lives.
